Principal Consultant - David Dunsheath
David has 23+ years of active involvement in Business Continuity and closely associated disciplines of Crisis Management, Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery (non-technical). He joined BCPL in 1995 where he gained consultant expertise to design and deliver Business Continuity solutions. These include development and rejuvenation of strategically oriented Business Continuity Management frameworks and plans for response, recovery and preparedness. His expertise spans underpinning methodologies for risk identification, business impact analysis, operational contingency planning documentation, and desk-top exercising of plans.
David’s above knowledge and expertise originated during his professional engineering and marketing roles within Telecom NZ. In 1989 he led development of Telecom’s initial ‘emergency preparedness’ planning, while establishing key linkages with Civil Defence authorities (national, regional and local), and Wellington Lifelines Group of infrastructure utilities.
David has an MBA, BE and MIPENZ (since resigned).
